Is your home in a conservation area?

  • Tree Preservation Order: the council's written consent is needed before any cutting or pruning.
  • Conservation area: six weeks' written notice to the council for trees wider than 7.5cm at 1.5m above ground.
  • Bird nesting season runs roughly March to August; trees are checked for active nests before work.
